ABOUT ME

I am a qualified Exercise Physiologist having attained a Masters Degree at Victoria University in 2005. I have also been an elite Racewalking Coach now for many years, having written/still writing training programs for national champions and medalists from here in Australia, the USA, New Zealand, South Africa and Lithuania. Just recently I've had my 4th racewalker selected to represent their country in the last 2 years, and that's from 4 separate country's too, Australia, Lithuania, New Zealand and the USA. I also help other racewalkers from various countries with many aspects of their training both on and off the track. That includes advice with their training programs, core stability, muscle strength and activation as well as correcting muscle imbalance and biomechanical gait. 

While continuing, of course, to write programs for racewalkers here and around the globe I have now broadened my range of skills to include Personal Training, the main focus of my business, working successfully with a large variety of different clients.These clients range from beginners to the fit, established client, to those with specific goals. One-on-one personalised training sessions can be designed and implemented for weight loss, improved aerobic fitness, increased physical, strength rehabilitation, and core stability depending on what goals the client would like prioritised. Versatility is a real strong point as I bring a multitude of different skills and ideas to my clients of all varieties and levels. My greatest strength as Personal Trainer, as well as a Coach, is my outstanding knowledge of the human body, how it functions but, more importantly, how and why it dysfunctions or doesn't function as it should. Those dysfunctions cause injury or impaired physical performance due to fitness/fatigue. As seen above and below I have the skills and background to properly rectify those dysfunctions with a highly specific exercise routine to suit your needs.Those needs may range from better coping with general, everyday activities through to recovery from injury to improved physical  performance because of increased fitness levels.

Besides being qualified to Personal Train and Coach, I am also a qualified Massage Therapist. In the past 14 years my clientele have included Olympic and Commonwealth Games athletes. I am also a qualified Mat Pilates Instructor, Swiss Ball Instructor, both of  which I have have employed to the benefit of my athletes/clients many times, and have a Certificate in Rehabilitation.
